About

Electronic music and soundtracks

Marco Giardina was born in 1975 and fell in love with electronic music and synthesizers at a very early age. Some of his favourite musicians are Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Rockets, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield. At 15 he began experimenting with keyboards and, at the same time, studying MIDI and his first computers to start composing his own pieces.

Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Danny Elfman, John Powell and Christopher Young still inspire him today, just as they did when he was a boy. He has been composing soundtracks since 2005 and now runs his own label, Attic Studio Digital Label. Companies he has worked with include Trudi, Geox and Onda.

A cinema lover, he has composed music for local films such as Nei tuoi occhi (2005), La notte dei giochi (2008), Il sole tramonta a mezzanotte (2008) and Anna la nera (2015). The Italian composer continues to work, bringing commitment and passion to his music.
